“Ain’t she sweet?”
This early riser is one of the brave bulbs I captured in a picture posted in February. She and her friends were just peeking through the snow and ice then, patiently saving their energy for just the right moment to show their true colors. I caught this darling daffodil primping in Friday morning’s sun. She patiently posed for me and the awakening day and I do believe she will be quite pleased with how the soft spring sunlight enhances her grace and beauty.

Some daffodils are already blooming here and have been in Marion for a while. Spring comes sooner as we drive south, but is it as precious for Southerners when it gets here? I don’t know. It has been a long winter for all.
I’m sure it is just as precious. We get spring earlier here than our family in MN and I think we take it a little for granted is all. Whenever it comes, it is a welcome. We are not yet leaving out here, but, with some warm weather ahead we will be soon. How about in your neck of the woods?
