Queen E : Mr Tilney! Have a care with my name. You will wear it out!
I must get this movie out and watch it again!
That is a great one, and only Judith Dench could deliver that line. I just watched it last week so it was fresh on my mind. It is one of those movies that gets even better for me each time I see it for all the great lines I missed at first.
Believe it or not—I have never seen it.
Try to see it sometime. It is a funny romantic romp about Shakespeare having writer’s block and Viola disguising herself as a boy to get the part of Romeo. Shakespeare and Viola embark on a forbidden love affair, he married, she betrothed to another and playing a man on stage in a time when women were forbidden to act and Judith Dench as Queen Elizabeth. It is full of multiple meanings, play on words, hints of other Shakespearean works and is more delightful each time I see it.
There are some scenes that are adult – no grandkids.
It sounds like fun.
