Enjoy your book club, Penny. I’ve been blogging and knitting socks for DH.
Oh, that sounds delightful, Perpetua. A good thing to do on a winter’s day/night there. I will. We are a chatty bunch that have been meeting for about 24 years.
Fabulousness! Good for you and thanks for checking in
I read that oh so interesting book and really wish I’d had a book group to discuss it! Enjoy! Debra
Thanks, Debra. I’ve actually started a post on it that I’ll put up later. You would like our book group, which has been going now for 24 years. We will have a lively discussion, I’m sure.
That sounds like a perfect winter activity. I love the picture of the nest filled with snow. Is that where the snow bird lives? I imagine some beautiful apparition flying out of the nest.
I do believe it just might be where the snow bird lives, Juliet. In just a few months, I’m sure there will a few eggs in there. You can be sure I’ll look.
Relax and enjoy!!
I will.
Did you like the book? It’s on my TBR list. I haven’t heard anyone’s personal opinion, just some reviews. Think I’ll wait awhile to read it – getting a new computer at work with updated software and also learning the payroll program and elections coming up. Have a feeling I’ll come home too brain tired to concentrate on much!
Do you still have your snow? Still in mid to upper 50′s in KS.
I did, Joyce, and will post on it. It was a wonderful book and I couldn’t put it down. Save it for when you have time to devote to it, though it is an easy read, in spite of all the science. Good luck with your new computer at work.
Only the piles of snow from the plows. We’ve had rain and warmer weather, ’40′s today. You are really having a mild winter, aren’t you?
Loved that book.
I did, too, Andra. I’m hoping to post on it later today. I couldn’t put it down.
Thank you for commenting.
Aww look how the snow is piled up on that nest just like our houses!
There is that resemblance, Janet. I’m sure it will be melted soon, if not already.
Penny. . . . you deserve to get caught up. . . but, I have missed your dailies!!!! Quite frankly, I don’t know how you write almost everyday. I have been prepping a post for the last two days . . . . coming soon.

You’re so sweet, Mary Anne. Somedays it is very easy, others, I work at it. Keeps me disciplined. Can’t wait to see your next post and all the beauty you bring.
Dear Penny,
I haven’t even heard of this book. You do such a wonderful job of introducing me to new children’s books as well as adult books. I so enjoy finding new authors who speak to me. Thank you.
Peace.
It is so much fun to share information, and to receive some, from Dee. I’ve always had a nice network of friends, but, this old internet and blogging has opened it up so much more so. You are so welcome.
