When to go out, my nurse doth wrap
Me in my comforter and cap;
The cold wind burns my face, and blows
Its frosty pepper up my nose.

He looks cozy and warm even though he lives in the north. What an appropriate verse to go with the photo.
Thank you, Janet. He’d just woken up from a nap, having slept through church, and the sun was kissing his face. RLS’s “A Children’s Garden of Verses” almost always has a few appropriate lines, even though they were written so long ago.
What a gorgeous wee fellow. I love the red hat, the blue eyes, and the poem to go with that dear little face. It must be so cold for a little one, but I am sure he is warmed by abundant love.
Thank you, Juliet. He was bundled up from the cold and is much loved and cared for. I caught him just as he was waking after sleeping through Sunday’s service.
Melting, here, Penny…..Awwwww….
Hi, Kate. He is a darling little charmer, indeed.
Oh my, how he’s grown. Happy New Year, Penny!
Hi, Karen! Happy New Year to you as well. He has, indeed, grown and is quite a charmer with the bluest of eyes. Stay warm.
Wow. He’s huge. I love the hint of those cheeks.
He is growing so fast, Andra, and when he smiles those cheeks are like golden apples to nibble on.
So cute! You must be having so much fun with him. Happy New Year!
Thank you, Sunday. Ezra is a sweet little bundle of cuddle – and yes, he was fun to be with this weekend. Happy New Year!
My, what beautiful eyes you have!
Thank you, Miss Belle; the better to see you with!
Oh my gosh Penny that is the cutest grandbaby picture EVER!
Aw, thanks, Sallie. I caught him at just the right moment with the sun streaming in and his big blue eyes so big and wide. Miss him, and his sister, already, but, you know how that goes.
Look at that precious face! His expression is just precious to go with that poem! Those big blue eyes show such wisdom.
I think he’s already thinking big boy thoughts! I hope that photo makes its way into a frame…it’s perfect.
It will, Debra. He was just waking up in his carrier and I was gifted with the perfect moment to capture him. I think you are right about those big boy thoughts – our Ezra is a darling little charmer. Thank you so much.
Oh, how completely adorable, Penny, and how he’s grown! The little man looks good in his winter hat.
He has grown, indeed, Perpetua. They do that when we aren’t looking, don’t they? Thank you.
Love to see those pumpkin hats pop up in pictures….:)
I know. I love them, too, Sandy – and the wonderful women that make them.
