“Drifting under panes”, and, “bending at the slant,” are wonderfully poetic phrases … and, I’m going to add here, your family get together at White Fence Farm sounds nice, and that chicken looks delicious!

Beautiful description of Fall Days and the special light of them. I am loving Autumn … we went to Florida so early last season that we missed it; glad to be staying longer this time.

A season to be enjoyed, Sallie, and nice to hear that this year you will get revel in it before heading to Florida. The leaves are starting to change rapidly now – and are resplendent. Thank you.

Thank you, Juliet, for taking the time to read backwards – and to comment. I do appreciate hearing from you. The words; ah, they just came to me as I looked out at the sunlight. 🙂

And then it changed drastically! If I know you Penny, you are also enjoying this cold snap in some cozy way at the cutoff. 🙂

Erk! Not today. The cold came fast and most of these plants are flat and beaten. Still, I do enjoy the changing of the seasons.

Gorgeous, Penny. Love the slant of the sun. I mentioned this week that the only way I can tell it is fall is the change in the sun’s slant. I love the way the light shifts this time of year, and even though we’re still “enjoying” summer the light is completely different from a month ago and I appreciate the subtlety. Your garden looks enchanting!

Thank you, Debra. How beautifully you capture the sun’s slant with your words. It seems as if everything is shone in a different light right now, and the colors are so vibrant. Well, we have a few fairy rings growing, so, enchanting it is. 🙂
