What a pleasure to feast on these colours Penny, while I’m in the chill of winter, nursing the flu. Thank you; your blog always cheers me – even when you write about sad things.

Thank you, L. Maire. Aren’t they great plates. The homeowner made them.
We lucked out yesterday with the weather, so, I’m trying not to complain about today’s. 🙂

So colorful! Do you know what that last flower is? I’ve seen it here (in Oregon) recently, but it isn’t familiar from our gardening days (heck, they’ve probably invented all sorts of new flowers since way back then).

It is a daylily, Sallie, and I think a newer variety. It was new to me as well and I wish I knew her name. I love the colors and the lacy look of the petals.

Thanks, Janet. I wish you could have, too. This particular house was stunning, for its garden and for its art. Lots of pottery, most of which the homeowner made. I loved these plates, but, I guess everyone figured that out. 🙂

Delicious, I’m sure. This was a tablescape at one of the houses for my garden club’s annual walk, Gerlinde. The homeowner is a potter. I can imagine such delectable entrees on them. 🙂
