It was such a blustery day today. A Winnie the Pooh sort of day with the madness of March as the old north wind huffed and puffed upon us. Not to be daunted, with errands to run, grateful it was merely a hearty wind that had come to call, and bearing in mind all the horrendous forces of nature others are enduring right now, off I went to the usual places folks tend to go on a Saturday; the post office, the bank, a store to pick up something I saw a few days ago, and to the library.
How grateful I am to have eyes that can see and mail to post and a home that is still standing. How grateful I am to be buffered against the March wind.
How grateful I am.
A lovely post. Like you I am grateful for all I have, when compared to the suffering that many others around the world have, the ordinary in my life is truly extraordinary.

I agree. When we see what is going on in the world, our problems don’t seem too important and we realize how blessed we are.

So true Penny. Events like those big ones in the world certainly put things into perspective. I always feel comforted when I look at Winnie the Pooh!

Hello Penny:
How grateful I am that my wonderful travels have brought me home safely and life is back to its normal state……..so fast that seems to happen. I got in last night, relaxed, emotionally and physically, well fed and so happy to have had this past week with my daughter in Mexico. After doing some design work in Florida and a week in Houston, life is good and the blustery day that I returned (Saturday) really wasn’t so bad afterall…………….at least I was grateful that there was no snow.
Your beautiful message of our fortunate life only another reminder that there are so many out “here and there” that need our prayers for the weather our world is experiencing.
Thanks again for your beautiful thoughts Penny.
My next post in the next few days well be called BEACH FORMATIONS……………..of all kinds.
